Mini Movie Reviews: Interstellar, Big Hero 6, and John Wick
These movies really don’t have much in common, except that they all dropped right before the blockbuster-filled time of the year that most people refer to as the holiday season.
Interstellar was, for one, not what I expected. It did turn out to be pretty great, though. I watched the movie with an open mind, even though I thought at first that they gave too much away in the trailers. I was surprised when I saw the movie, though, because I found out that they did not, in fact, give away too many plot details. They kept just enough behind the curtain to surprise most. Sure, they showed every actor and actress that was going to be in the movie, the fact that some of the main characters lived on a farm, and part of the plot-line where some of the characters go into space, but that was not the main premise of the movie, although these elements did play big parts in the overall plot.
**Don’t read further if you haven’t seen these movies yet, and would like to stay spoiler-free.
